A number of studies in Europe have shown that exercise has a more positive impact on strengthening heart muscle and reversing CVD. Exercises such as interval training, strength training etc are more effective than moderate continuous training however it should not lead to exertion. Broadly speaking CVD patients should exercise 3-4 times a week for at least 30 minutes but this should be customised for each individual.  Tags: Cardiovascular Disease, Chronic Lifestyle Diseases, Exercise and Yoga, Fitness, Healthy Lifestyle, Heart Health, Sedentary Lifestyle
