Mrinal Is Avandia a safe and important option in the treatment of Type 2 diabetes.
F.D.A. said Tuesday that studies demonstrate conclusively that Avandia is far more dangerous to the heart than a similar medicine, Actos, made by Takeda.

There is further evidence that patients in a crucial trial of Avandia who suffered heart attacks did not have their problems included in the trial’s final tally. Internal company documents made public in recent days show that the company hid from the public crucial information about Avandia’s safety woes.
What is going on here?
Lets wait and see the rulings soon to be made by the FDA.

Vijayalakshmi Iyengar Fantastic news about the discovery of a novel insulin. Suffering for diabetics will now reduce and the everyday insulin pricks for controlling their blood sugar will be the thing of the past. A team of Indian scientists have discovered a single shot of insulin that could help keep sugar levels under control for more than a month as against 24 hrs now.

Smita Singh Ms Sangeeta, It is good that you manage your blood sugar through exercise alone. Exercise is one of the treatments of diabetes but it never work alone. You have to adjust your diet that favours your blood sugar level along with exercise. A diabetic diet includes use of balanced diet with low glycemic foods and fibrous foods. You may log on our diabetic management program and also get a customized diet plan.
